Lahore, Pakistan: The Shaukat Khanum Hospital gets wrapped by the WannaCry Ransomware Cyber-Attack, officials reported on Monday.
Recently, a cyber-attack ransomware known at WannaCry has been circulating around, attacking well known organizations world wide. According to my sources, the famous Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center of Pakistan the biggest healthcare network in Pakistan, has also been affected by the malware.
The sources revealed that Lahore branch of SKMCH received the red-message on various computers the past day, after which the all the doctors and other staff members received a red alert from the related officials and were asked to turn off their systems. The doctors and staff was also advised not to perform any actions provided by the pop-up alert.
Some necessary machines that were needed to provide basic health service to the patients remained online, yet all the remaining systems all across the network in all the campuses of SKMCH were forced to stay off.

According to your sources, more than 95 counties have been a victim of WannaCry ransomware.
